About TSSC

Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) is a Non-Profit Organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. We are an industry-led apex body, jointly set up by the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), Indian Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA) and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), to ensure adequate availability of skilled manpower to boost growth and productivity in the Telecom sector.

Over the years, TSSC has emerged as the bridge between Ministries, Indian telecom industry and youth of our nation for skill development. TSSC works with several Ministries, Skilling bodies, technical institutes with the objective of promoting skills amongst young Indian talent and bridging the manpower demand - supply gap in the industry. TSSC's core membership includes Indian Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA) and private Telecom service providers, namely Bharti Airtel Limited and Vodafone Idea Limited.

CEO, Telecom Sector Skill Council

By developing skills among Indian youth, Telecom Sector Skill Council has been catering to the Skill India mission for about 10 years. Telecom sector is entering the fifth generation of network and technologies like artificial intelligence, automation, edge computing, AR/VR and drones are opening vast opportunities for India. TSSC has been investing enormous time and effort into creating lucrative opportunities for upskilling our youth.

After a successful run in telecom industry, I have taken the cause of Skill India mission to redefine the workforce landscape and bridge the demand – supply gap in India. I imagine our great nation as a Global talent hub and to achieve that goal, TSSC is focused on creating an agile environment for young people to upskill themselves.
